Football Performance
During the second quarter, Nyalenda Youngstars FC participated in a series of competitive league matches. Despite the tough fixtures, the team delivered outstanding performances, securing crucial victories that propelled us to the top of the league table. We also organized a friendly match for our senior team to enhance match fitness, teamwork, and tactical development.
Youth Development
Our younger players took part in structured engagement activities designed to improve their football skills, build confidence, encourage teamwork, and promote positive values in a safe and inclusive environment.
Community Engagement and Safeguarding
Through the Play for Change programme, we conducted inclusive community activities focused on child protection, safeguarding, and conflict resolution. Community coaches received practical training on managing child-related conflicts and creating safe spaces for children. The session was facilitated by an advocate who provided legal and child rights guidance, strengthening the coaches' capacity to safeguard young participants.
Media and Visibility
To increase the club's visibility and document our impact, we successfully produced our first documentary, highlighting Nyalenda Youngstars FC's football journey, community initiatives, and commitment to youth empowerment.
