Summary
Q1 2026 was a busy opening in the new year for the club. Q1 was opened with an invitational tournament title and continued with Senior-League competition - (3W/2D/2L) by Matchday 7. Off the pitch, the club hosted its first school-based tournament for students in Kisumu under the theme “Bridging Knowledge and Skills”, pairing matches with life-skills sessions and expanding its partner network.
Objectives
Compete consistently in the Kisumu County League.

Bridge knowledge and practical skills through football-based education for school pupils.
Grow youth pathways and female representation in sport.
Competitions
Invitational Tournament (January): Champions. The tournament brought together teams from different regions; it was a valuable experience as we tested ourselves against varied playing styles, picked up proper technical and tactical skills, and returned with trophies. Definetly a strong statement to start the year.
Kisumu Senior League: 7 matches played (3 wins, 2 draws, 2 losses); positive trajectory and growing confidence.
Community & Education
Nyalenda Schools Tournament (21–22 Feb 2026, St Mary’s School): First edition for junior & CBC primary pupils.
Life-skills talks delivered alongside the tournament.
Capacity & Inclusion: Recruited a recently graduated former player into staff to support operations and mentor girls.
Partnerships
Q1 activities were supported by: Better Me, Play for Change, SHOFCO, Stories Makers, HOK, and Kenya Red Cross.
We want to thank all of them for supporting our projects.
Outcomes & Impact
Competitive progress: 11 points from 7 games showing improving cohesion and match sharpness.
First structured junior tournament in Nyalenda linking sport with learning.
Increased visibility of female role models within the club.
Strengthened multi-partner collaboration for community programming.
Next Steps (Holiday & Q2)
Holiday activities: training clinics, small-sided festivals, and follow-up life-skills sessions.
Sustain league form and target greater consistency.
Expand school partnerships and document participation to support fundraising.
