Quarter Two Reflections: A Season of Brilliance

It has been a truly fulfilling quarter for Nyalenda Youngstarsone marked by buzzing activity, complete dominance on the pitch, and sparkling community engagement. From electrifying victories in the FKF Kisumu Central Sub-County League to transformative grassroots events, every moment has been a testament to the team’s passion, discipline, and unity.

1. League Excellence

We are very happy to achieve a flawless record through Q2, drawing only the final fixture.

Currently we are leading Pool B with the highest goal difference and points tally.

2. Training & Development

Focus Areas:

• Technical drills (passing, ball control, reaction time)

• Tactical discipline and cohesive team play

• Peer-to-peer mentorship across age groups

• Youth Inclusion: Under-10 and Under-15 squads training alongside seniors, building early bonds and skill transfer

3. Community Impact

Community Engagement: Over 100 youth and local residents joined post-match reflections and open training sessions.

Transformational Football: Matches and clinics shifted perceptions- football became a vehicle for hope and empowerment in Nyalenda.
