Update by our Head-Coach Billy Agai / June 24

We have been doing consistent training sessions during the last weeks, as we train twice a week during school days and four times during holidays.

Of course, the turn up number is lower during school days as most of the kids always go to school on Saturday. So, on Sunday we have a contractive full team training with full house. In our full team training, we focus on the basics like passing, dribbling, controlling, heading with the ball. Off the ball we do jogging, trotting, running, short sprints and long sprints.

The kid’s growth is very encouraging to me, to the club, to parents and to the total community. Basically, I can see them improving every day. Luckily the kids’ water is always present and that is a plus to the team and the kids because it's healthy for the kids to take water several times in the training and a lot of stoppages during the trainings. And with that, on the kids’ behalf we need to give them fruits and “performance-food” more often.#

We try to organize serious friendly matches as much as possible. The last friendly matches we played against “Joel Omino High-School” and luckily our Under 13-Team won 2:0 and the Under 16-Team won 2:1.

Of course I do also face some challenges in the team. We lack goal posts, which makes it difficult for them to get familiar to the situations and moments in the game. We lack on aiming the target and scoring goals in various matches.

The main challenge I face in the field of training is that the number of kids is too big for me alone and we need a few more balls and material. So sometimes it is impossible to treat everybody the same way and give them the same sort of enjoyment. But we will address that and I am getting good support by involved in the club.

As Education is key, I am very happy that a few players are fully sponsored now and I am really thankful for the help of BetterMe. I am hoping that the number increases and every kid has the chance to go to school.

In total the kids are happy and encouraged and very thankful and grateful for the journey.

We have photos and videos on trainings coverages which helps us to show and hold on the moments of the team.

Personally, I am fully supported, encouraged, motivated and happy with the progress.

Finally, I want to thank all the Donors, partners, well-wishers, the parents, the community and team officials for the participation, support and passions to see the club developing.
